Dr. Suriya Priya Asaithambi is an Associate at Software Engineering & Design, National University of Singapore. She has twenty years of experience in teaching and consulting particularly in the areas software engineering, application architecture, agile development and cloud services. Her research interest spans around cloud computing, software product line engineering, test automation and big data engineering. Her responsibilities include teaching post-graduate students and industry practitioners, consulting in a vendor-neutral manner, and conducting practice-based research. Previously, she worked as technical consultant for software firms (Such as IBM, Deutsche Bank, NCS and SingTel) where her roles and contribution involved application architecture, team leadership, software delivery and stakeholder management. Dr. Suriya is also a certified professional in TOGAF, GCCC and IBM Websphere products.

His research interests include: Medical Imaging, Soft computing, Data mining, Machine learning, Rough set, Mathematical Modeling and Computer Simulation, Modeling of Biomedical Systems, Robotics and Systems, Information Hiding, Security, Computer Aided Diagnosis, Atherosclerosis. He is at present working with TCS Innovation and Transformation Group and prior to this had been working with HCL Technologies and R&D organization under Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. Of India. He has filed multiple patents both in IPO and USPTO. He had specialized his Master of Engineering in Electronics & Control and Master of Business Administration in Technology Management.
